Beacon Ridge Golf & Country Club
West End, NC
Description
(1988) - Situated among sky-reaching pines and rolling hills, the Gene Hamm-designed, championship golf course at Beacon Ridge presents golfers wonderful views and a challenging, diverse golf experience. It recently received a four-star rating from Golf Digest's "Places To Play" in 2002. Teeing it up at this gem of the Sandhills is one of the best discoveries you will ever make. This classic layout requires every shot in the bag and guarantees an enjoyable round for the skilled and beginning player alike.
What's different about Beacon Ridge?
Beacon Ridge has fairways that are forgiving for shot that goes a little too far to the left or right, not that you don't hit it in the fairway each time, but your playing partners might need the help! Water comes into play on a few holes, but isn't too intimidating to those beginners.
The golf course is located off Hwy 211 West. If you're coming into town, or heading out of town, towards Asheboro it will be on your way.
Scheduled to aerify on February 27-28 (small tines), May 7-8, and August 27-29, 2012.
